  Haresh Kumar

  MD

  Primary care physician Haresh Kumar is board certified in internal medicine. He focuses on prevention, timely diagnosis and treatment. He addresses his patients’ concerns by listening, understanding their needs and developing care plans based on practical management strategies that achieve the best results. “Many seniors have complicated and challenging health concerns,” says Dr. Kumar. “I want to help them understand their issues and manage their health well.” Dr. Kumar is married and has three children. He enjoys watching television, surfing the internet and reading national and international newspapers. He also likes playing cricket and tennis, jogging and cycling.

  Arthur K. Kennedy

  MD, MSc

  Dr. Arthur K. Kennedy’s desire to become a physician arose while watching doctors care for his mother after she suffered a stroke. His favorite part of his profession is “educating patients and encouraging them to take charge of their health.” He adds, “I care about them, not just as patients but as people.” Active listening and patience are key in his practice. He takes pride in serving as an advocate for his patients. He especially likes caring for the senior population. “They have fascinating stories,” he says. When not with patients, Dr. Kennedy can be found reading, talking to friends, watching sports, and listening to African music. He also enjoys discussing politics and making educational health videos.

  Shante Gleaton

  DNP, FNP-BC

  Dr. Shante Gleaton’s “innate desire to serve others” led her to the healthcare profession. “My favorite part of my profession is empowering patients to take control of their health and healthcare,” she says. She is passionate about “preventative care, early intervention, and effective chronic disease management.” She actively “listens with empathy” to connect with patients and wants them to know they matter.“I choose to work with the senior population to assist patients coping with the challenges of aging. This also affords me the opportunity to hear a treasure-trove of stories and a wealth of knowledge,” she explains. Dr. Gleaton enjoys traveling, reading, and arm knitting in her free time. She also follows a vegan diet.
