Semaglutide is only FDA-approved under the name brands of Wegovy® and Ozempic® and and tirzepatide is only approved under Monjaro®, neither have therapeutic equivalents listed. What is your pricing for GLP-1 medications? Each prescription contains 4 weekly injections and pricing starts at $425, depending on medication. All GLP-1 medications are prepaid at a flat monthly rate so that your payment remains the same as your dose increases. How soon can I start? Your first dose is typically scheduled within 2 weeks of approved lab results and completed payment. How will I get the injections? We prefer to store the medication and administer these injections in the clinic so we can adjust dosage for side effects and monitor your results.   We strongly encourage making changes to your diet, exercise, and sleeping habits before turning to medication. However, when lifestyle changes haven’t worked and your BMI is 30 or higher, then we recommend a consultation to decide if a medication is right for you. Phentermine and Tenuate Appetite suppressants, such as phentermine and tenuate, are stimulants used to curb hunger and help you lose weight. They basically trick your body into feeling full while stimulating your metabolism. Although these medications are both used to suppress the appetite, tenuate and phentermine are significantly different on the chemical level so if one has adverse effects, you may benefit from switching to the other. Always keep in mind that everyone reacts differently to these types of medications, so what works for a friend may not work for you. Due to increased risk of cardiovascular issues such as high blood pressure, stimulants are not recommended for long term treatment. Both of these options require a prescription and the typical dose is ½-1 tablet per day. We offer 1-3 month plans for these medications with a medical exam and annual lab work. Semaglutide GLP-1 medications suppress the appetite by mimicking a hormone to signal the brain there is food in the stomach. It can also make the stomach empty slower, making you feel full from smaller amounts of food. For most, this is a much safer alternative to stimulants.
